Date Set Incorrectly While Adding to Collection

I have noticed that when you input a date while adding to your collection a Pokemon you didn't directly track with the app, the date you put in appears one less after you hit the checkmark to finish. For example, I was trying to put in a shiny Pichu I caught in Ultra Sun on 6/16/19 with Shiny Charm. It kept saying that I got it on 6/15/19 and wouldn't let me edit it. (I had to delete it and make a new one)
